Mini DVD Player

Portable DVD players allow consumers to play DVD discs on the go. However, for movie lovers who want to take an even smaller player with them a mini DVD player is the perfect solution. Note, however, that a mini DVD player does not play standard sized DVD discs.

In order to play a 3.5" DVD on a mini DVD player a computer user must burn a DVD onto a small disc using his personal computer. Then, the smaller disc can be played in mini DVD players. While this process may be time-consuming, it is worth it for travelers who have a limited amount of space in their luggage.

A mini DVD player has a very small screen. A standard LCD screen is 2.5 inches. The player will also have a headphone jack and likely include an integrated speaker.
